About the Role

Morgan Hunt is recruiting on behalf of an established college in Oxford for a skilled and motivated Plumbing Lecturer. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, practical training to students, supporting them in gaining recognised qualifications and the hands-on skills needed to progress within the plumbing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on plumbing training to students at varying levels
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with awarding body standards and course requirements
• Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Support learners from a range of experience levels and backgrounds
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate learner records
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment at all times

Requirements

Essential

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or equivalent
• Proven industry experience as a qualified plumber
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate students
• Commitment to safeguarding and the success of every learner

Desirable

• Teaching qualification such as PGCE or CertEd, or willingness to work towards one
• IQA qualification
• Previous experience in a further education or training environment
