Sai Avenue Limited is hiring a Pharmacist Manager for what is described as the highest-rated and most-reviewed pharmacy in the city — also the first and only fully automated pharmacy in the region. This is a leadership role for a commercially aware, forward-thinking pharmacist who can manage a team, deliver clinical services, and actively grow the business.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services and Patient Care
- Accurately dispense medications and advise patients on treatments
- Monitor patient outcomes, maintain records, and collaborate on care plans
- Ensure safe pharmaceutical handling and stay current on clinical developments
NHS and Private Services
- Deliver NHS services including Pharmacy First, blood pressure checks, and vaccinations
- Grow private clinics covering travel health and weight management
- Maintain proper documentation and regulatory compliance across all services
Service Growth and Community Engagement
- Train staff to drive service uptake and engage patients directly
- Lead outreach campaigns and build a pharmacy-first culture within the team
Dispensing and Accuracy
- Clinically assess prescriptions, perform final checks, and counsel patients
- Maintain compliant dispensing records at all times
Operational and Stock Management
- Manage cold chain storage, expiry control, stock recalls, and equipment
- Oversee cost-efficient stock management
Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Conduct risk assessments and maintain SOPs
- Oversee infection control, fire safety, COSHH, and incident reporting
Clinical Governance and Legal Compliance
- Uphold GPhC standards, manage controlled drugs, and ensure GDPR compliance
- Support internal and external audits as required
Team Leadership
- Supervise daily workflow, develop staff capabilities, and conduct performance reviews
- Foster a service-driven, positive team culture
What You Need to Apply
- GPhC-registered Pharmacist (England) or EEA equivalent qualification
- Proven leadership experience in a pharmacy setting
- Commercially aware, efficient, and forward-thinking
- Able to inspire a team and drive pharmacy growth
- Candidates must be willing to attend a paid observation shift at the pharmacy prior to appointment
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role ranges from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and candidate quality. The full package includes:
- 5–10% profit share depending on candidate quality
- Additional fees for Independent Prescribing Pharmacists
- Support to achieve Independent Prescribing qualification
- GPhC registration fees paid by the employer
- UK visa sponsorship
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
