Key Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious, high-quality food that consistently delights clients and customers
- Oversee and implement menu changes in line with nutritional and brand standards
- Identify opportunities to improve food services and overall customer experience
- Listen and act on customer feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
- Represent Chartwells professionally and maintain a positive brand image
- Monitor inventories to keep the kitchen well-stocked at all times
- Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene and safety standards
- Comply with all Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations
Requirements
Essential
- Genuine passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
- City and Guilds 706/1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent culinary qualification
- Experience supervising a kitchen team
- Previous experience in a similar Chef role
- Valid Food Hygiene certificate
- Flexible approach to working hours and duties
Additional Requirements
- Enhanced DBS disclosure required
- Children’s Barred List check required
