Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications

  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of marketing plans aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives
  • Manage digital channels including the website, social media platforms, and email communications
  • Coordinate and produce marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, case studies, press releases, and promotional content
  • Maintain and protect the organisation’s brand identity across all platforms
  • Liaise with external marketing agencies, designers, and printers as required
  • Monitor marketing activity and engagement, and make recommendations for improvement

Charity and Fundraising

  • Work alongside the senior team to develop fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and events
  • Build and maintain relationships with community groups, local businesses, donors, and supporters
  • Coordinate charitable initiatives and community outreach activities that promote the mission of Oxfordshire Crossroads
  • Assist with grant promotion, donor communications, and supporter recognition
  • Represent the organisation at events, networking opportunities, and community engagements

What You Need to Apply

Essential

  • Experience in digital marketing and a solid understanding of social media platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities effectively
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including the public and community groups
  • A genuine commitment to the values and mission of Oxfordshire Crossroads

Desirable

  • Experience working within a charity or not-for-profit organisation
  • Knowledge of traditional and offline marketing techniques
  • Experience organising or supporting fundraising events or campaigns
  • Basic design skills or familiarity with tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, or CMS platforms
  • Understanding of data protection and consent in a care or charity setting
