Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship 2027 – University of Toronto

The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship is the University of Toronto’s most prestigious award for outstanding international undergraduate students. It recognises exceptional academic achievement, creativity, and leadership. Approximately 37 scholars are selected each year from around the world.

What the Scholarship Covers

• Full tuition for four years
• Books and incidental fees
• Full residence support for four years

The award is tenable only at the University of Toronto for first-entry undergraduate programmes starting in September 2027.

Eligibility

You must be an international student (non-Canadian requiring a study permit), in your final year of senior secondary school in 2026/2027 or graduated no earlier than June 2026, and beginning studies at U of T in September 2027. Students already in post-secondary studies are not eligible. Nomination by your high school is required (one student per school).

Key Deadlines (2027 Intake)

• School nomination deadline: 9 October 2026
• U of T undergraduate admission application deadline: 16 October 2026
• Pearson Scholarship application and documents deadline: 6 November 2026

How to Apply
