The Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project 2027 offers tuition free places at leading Russian universities for bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programmes.
It is an online international competition open to foreign citizens and stateless persons. Winners gain early admission without entrance exams.

Open Doors Scholarship 2027 Benefits
Winners receive full tuition coverage for the chosen programme funded by the Russian federal budget.
A free Russian language preparation year is available for Russian taught programmes. Monthly university stipends may apply depending on the institution.
Travel, housing and full living costs are not covered.
Eligibility
Open to all foreign citizens and stateless persons. Tracks for bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral levels.
Age limits apply by track. Good command of English or Russian is needed for the competition stages.
No specific nationality restriction.
Application Deadline
Registration and portfolio submission close on 1 November 2026.
First stage results on 13 November 2026. Bachelor’s and master’s winners announced 21 December 2026.
Doctoral interviews run into February 2027.

Register on the official Open Doors platform at od.globaluni.ru.
Build and submit your portfolio including motivation letter and education proof by 1 November 2026.
Complete the online stages: portfolio, tests or tasks, and interviews for higher tracks.
