The Gates Cambridge Scholarship 2027 fully funds postgraduate study at the University of Cambridge for outstanding international students.
Around 70 awards are given each year for PhD, MLitt or one year master’s courses.

Applications for 2027/8 entry are open. The scholarship covers the University Composition Fee and a maintenance allowance of about £23,152 for 12 months.

Eligibility
You must apply for a full time residential course at Cambridge (PhD, MPhil/MLitt or one year postgraduate). Academic excellence, leadership and commitment to improving others lives are key.
