VLIR-UOS ICP Connect Scholarship 2027 – Fully Funded Opportunity in Belgium
The VLIR-UOS ICP Connect Scholarship for the 2027–2028 academic year is now open. It offers fully funded study opportunities for selected master’s (and some bachelor’s) programmes at Flemish universities and universities of applied sciences in Belgium. The overall call deadline is 28 February 2027, with individual programme deadlines possibly earlier. Studies begin in September 2027.
What the Scholarship Covers
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly allowance of approximately €1,400 covering living costs, accommodation, insurance, and related expenses
- Economy-class return flight to Belgium
- Duration matching the programme length (typically 12, 24, or 36 months)
Eligibility
Applicants must hold the nationality of one of the 25 eligible countries in Africa, Asia, or Latin America and reside in an eligible country at the time of application. Age limits apply (generally under 35 for initial master’s, under 45 for advanced master’s). Preference is given to candidates from higher education, government, or civil society backgrounds with a strong motivation to contribute to sustainable development. All programmes are taught in English.

Applications are submitted directly to the organising university or programme (not through a central VLIR-UOS portal). Select one programme only, meet its specific admission requirements (including English proficiency), and indicate your interest in the scholarship.
