About the Role
Q-Line Trucking Ltd is seeking experienced and reliable Company Drivers for cross-border open deck operations between Canada and the United States. This role involves hauling a variety of flatbed and specialized freight, requiring strong knowledge of load securement and cross-border procedures. Drivers can expect consistent miles, regular travel into the U.S., and a high level of communication with dispatch to ensure safe, on-time deliveries. Please note that LMIA support and immigration sponsorship are not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate super-b combination units to transport and deliver loads to customers
- Perform trip inspections on equipment to ensure safety and roadworthiness
- Maintain daily logs, trip sheets, inspection sheets, and all required paperwork
- Comply with all provincial, state, and federal laws including hours of service and occupational health and safety regulations
- Communicate daily with dispatch regarding load details, safety concerns, and scheduling
- Ensure proper cleaning of hopper trailers to prevent cross contamination
- Operate anhydrous ammonia trailers following company training and regulatory requirements
- Operate super-b liquid tankers and safely handle hoses with product
- Maintain a clean driving record by following proper safety precautions
- Monitor and maintain reasonable fuel economy
- Maintain a clean and tidy interior and exterior of tractor and trailer
- Climb into hopper trailers for cleaning purposes as required
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of long-haul or cross-border driving experience (preferred)
Licence/Certification
- Valid Class 1A or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Air Brake Endorsement
- Tanker and Flatbed experience an asset
