Eligibility
- Citizen of an African country (dual citizens with non-African citizenship are ineligible)
- Hold or be completing a Bachelor’s degree from an eligible institution, or hold UNHCR refugee status
- Under 35 years of age on 1 September of the application year
- Not already hold or be pursuing a Master’s degree
- Demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and commitment to impact in Africa
How to Apply
Apply through the international graduate admission procedure on the Sciences Po website. Indicate interest in the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program and request a fee waiver if eligible.
Deadlines:
- 23 November 2026 for admission decision by 11 February 2027
- 14 December 2026 for admission decision by 1 April 2027
Scholarship results are communicated in April 2027.
