About the Role

Tim Hortons in St. Anthony, Newfoundland is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead a team across a fast-paced food service and coffee shop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating staff activities, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate daily operations
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety standards
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure food and service consistently meet quality control standards
• Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit operational reports as required
• Supervise and check the assembly and delivery of food trolleys and trays
• Establish and manage work schedules for team members

Supervision

This role involves direct supervision of 5 to 10 people across the following areas: food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers, and staff in various areas of responsibility.

Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in a food service supervisory role

Security and Safety

• Criminal record check required
• Basic security clearance
