About the Role

Canmore Inn & Suites is seeking dedicated and hardworking Room Attendants to join their Housekeeping department in Canmore, AB. As a Room Attendant, your role is crucial in providing a clean and welcoming environment that ensures a great guest experience. The hotel is centrally located in Canmore, a perfect base to enjoy the Canadian Rockies. Please note that LMIA support is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing linens, and sanitising all surfaces
• Ensure bathrooms are clean, sanitised, and well-stocked with towels, toiletries, and paper products
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department
• Follow all hotel cleaning protocols to consistently meet safety and hygiene standards
• Organise and stock cleaning supplies including linens, towels, and amenities
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for additional amenities or special services
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding guest information and personal items
• Adhere to all hotel policies including health and safety standards
• Assist with cleaning public areas, laundry, and inventory management as needed

Requirements

Education

• No formal education required

Experience

• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset

Skills and Attributes

• Strong attention to detail and high standard of cleanliness
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Positive, friendly, and guest-oriented attitude
• Able to communicate effectively in English

Language

• English (required)

Physical Demands

• Able to lift, push, or carry up to 25 lbs
• Extended time on feet including lifting, pushing, bending, walking, and reaching
