About the Role

Lunatech Consulting is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver / Associate to join their team in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a cargo delivery van, managing daily parcel deliveries, and ensuring packages are handled with care across various routes throughout Edmonton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and operate a cargo delivery van (similar to Ford Transit)
  • Use hand-held device for routing and customer delivery information
  • Navigate various routes throughout the Edmonton delivery area
  • Perform 150–200 stops per shift (on/off van)
  • Load and unload packages; lift up to 23kg (50 lbs.)
  • Collaborate with OTR and operations manager for daily van loading
  • Meet daily delivery targets and all safety/quality requirements
  • Act as a Rescue Hero to assist colleagues when needed
  • Return and properly store all undelivered packages at end of shift
  • Take care of company property: vehicle, cell phone, and equipment

 

Requirements

Licence/Certification

  • Minimum Class 5 Driving Licence or equivalent (Class 5 GDL acceptable)

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of delivery driving (required)
  • Cargo van driving experience is an asset

Skills and Attributes

  • Proficient with GPS, cell phone apps, texting, and scanning
  • Familiar with navigating the Edmonton area
  • Able to lift and move boxes up to 23kg (50 lbs.)
  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
  • Must consent to a drug screening
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

Language

  • English (required)

Work Schedule

  • Flexible schedule up to 10 hrs/shift, up to 5 days a week
