Eligibility checker
Enter your nationality, study level, field, grade, age, work experience and English score. We compare them with each scholarship's published rules and show what you meet, what needs one more detail, and what does not fit.
How the eligibility checker works
Scholarships set rules on nationality, study level, field of study, academic grade, age, work experience and English ability. The checker compares your details with the published rules of each scholarship in its list.
Results fall into three groups. "You meet the requirements" means every rule you have answered is satisfied. "Needs more information" means a rule depends on a detail you have not entered yet. "Does not match your details" means at least one rule is not met, and the reason is shown.
What to have ready before you start
- Your final grade as a percentage. If your school uses a different scale, such as a 5.0 CGPA, use your institution's official conversion before you enter a number.
- Your English test and score. Many funders accept tests taken within the last two years, so check the rule for each scholarship.
- Your field of study, written as it appears on your transcript, for example "Computer Science" or "Public Health".
- Your nationality on your passport, which can differ from where you were born or live.
Why a blank field shows "needs more information"
If a scholarship sets a rule and you leave that detail empty, the result asks you to add it. A blank field is never counted as a failed rule, so you do not lose a match because you skipped a question.
Frequently asked questions
Does passing the checker guarantee a scholarship?
No. The checker only tests the published eligibility rules. Selection depends on the funder, which can also consider essays, interviews, references and the number of applicants for each place. Confirm every rule on the official application page.
Can I use this if I am not Nigerian?
Yes. Choose your nationality from the list. Some scholarships are open only to certain nationalities, and the checker shows which ones apply to you.
What does "closed" mean?
It means the deadline on the listing has passed. Many funders open new rounds every year, so check the official page for the next intake.
Is the information I enter saved?
This tool does not store your entries. They are used only to produce your results. The results page address includes your entries, so anyone you share that link with can see them.
