About the Role

This full-time Picker position at Booker Group in Oban offers a permanent role working 38 hours per week across five days out of seven, with the possibility of weekend shifts. The role involves accurate order picking using handheld terminals, quality checks on goods, and efficient dispatch preparation to support timely deliveries.

You will also contribute to excellent customer service by processing deliveries to target, handling queries professionally, and maintaining high standards across various store tasks including shelf filling and stock management. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and dispatch goods using a handheld terminal while reporting any discrepancies to the manager.
• Check quality, shelf life and packaging robustness in preparation for delivery.
• Process deliveries efficiently to meet performance targets while delivering high standards of customer service.
• Handle delivery staff politely, respond appropriately to queries, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Maintain a consistent can-do attitude and meet designated pick rates.

Requirements

Education

• No formal education required

Experience

• No previous experience necessary; full training provided
