About the Role

RJ Farms is seeking a full-time Dairy Herd Worker to join their team in Corbyville, ON. The ideal candidate is a physically fit, hardworking individual who is reliable, punctual, responsible, dependable, and trustworthy. Previous dairy farming experience is a major asset but not essential. Salary will be based on experience and skill set. Please note that LMIA support is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Milking cows and managing dairy herd operations
• Feeding and handling livestock
• Cleaning pens and maintaining farm hygiene
• General farm labour duties
• Some tractor and farm machinery operation

Requirements

Education

• No formal education required

Experience

• Dairy farming: 1 year (preferred)
• Previous dairy farming experience is a major asset but not essential

Skills and Attributes

• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting
• Able to work at a high pace both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, responsible, dependable, and trustworthy
• Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Corbyville, ON before starting
• Must have a valid driving licence and reliable transportation
• Do not apply if you are not in commuting distance to the farm
