Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and workshops across Business Management modules at Levels 4 to 6
  • Plan and prepare engaging teaching materials aligned with programme learning outcomes
  • Assess student work including assignments, presentations, and examinations, providing constructive and timely feedback
  • Support students’ academic progress, research skills, and career development
  • Contribute to curriculum design, programme development, and academic quality assurance processes
  • Participate in academic meetings, moderation panels, and assessment boards
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, engagement, and performance
  • Provide academic support through tutorials and individual student guidance sessions
  • Engage with current industry developments to ensure course content remains relevant and up to date

Requirements

Essential

  • Master’s degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline
  • Previous teaching experience within Higher Education or Further Education, particularly at Levels 4 to 6
  • Strong subject knowledge across core business disciplines
  • Experience designing and delivering academic modules and assessments
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and presentation skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds

Desirable

  • PhD in Business, Management, or a related field
  • Familiarity with academic quality assurance frameworks and validation processes
